Blood Donation Drive in Bradford April 2017

By superadmin

A total of 43 people registered for the Blood Donation Drive in Bradford. Majority of these were first time donors and were really happy to give blood. Not all could give blood due to reasons such as just been to India, recently been unwell and a few girls from University could not give blood as they were underweight.

The main reason why these people have not given blood in the past, was due to the lack of awareness of the need for greater blood donors from the Asian community.

Sewa Day brought awareness in the community by making a number of Blood Donation Presentations at the Mandir’s, Gurudware and University of Bradford.
